Happy Wednesday! As I’m sure you all know, we are more then just “Wedding Planners” our background is in both Social & Corporate Event Planning. When we were approached a few weeks ago to help team up with All-In to Fight Cancer, we knew this was something we wanted to be a part of! This event is open to the public and they are signing up people every day…if this is something that you’re interested in, sign up to play with an “All In” buy in or simply just come as a “Cashed In” Observer.

What it’s all about::
All-In To Fight Cancer is a local, nonprofit group based in Charlotte NC. Our members have all experienced the profound grief and devastation of cancer in our own families, and we are dedicated to increasing public awareness and raising money to find a cure. All-In proceeds will be donated to LIVESTRONG to support the global fight against cancer.
The Vision::
The stakes have never been higher.
Cancer has become the world’s leading cause of death. Over 40% of all men and women born today will be diagnosed with some type of cancer during their lifetime. It is a tragic statistic, but in a sad way, not surprising. Nearly all of us can share stories of loved ones who have been affected – either directly or indirectly.
A couple of Technekes executives, however, are determined to have a hand in changing those odds – and have a great time to boot.
President and COO, Steve Amedio, and creative director Scott Miner have banded together with other Charlotte leaders to hold a Texas Hold ‘Em fundraiser, with all proceeds going to Livestrong, the Lance Armstrong nonprofit group dedicated to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
It promises to be a great time – and there couldn’t be a greater cause. And we sure could use your help. At the very simplest level, we’re asking you to help raise awareness of our cause by “friending” our group on Facebook.
