Here is our Press Release that we posted on our website!

The wedding of Bob Lacey, of Charlotte’s very own Bob & Sheri Morning Show and Mary Lucas took place on July 31, 2010 at 7:00 in the evening at the home of co-host Sheri Lynch. With inspiration from Hall & Webb Event Design, the Great Gatsby theme they had envisioned came to life.

As guests strolled up the drive, the mood was set with a 1953 Silver Cloud Rolls Royce parked in the driveway. Hanging from the Magnolia tree was perfectly hung, dimly-lit crystal chandeliers. During the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and entertainment by Donnie Walker, a classical guitarist. As Mary made her grand entrance, glass cylinders with floating candles lead her up the stairs to meet Bob. They wed under the pergola, where beautifully hung cream drapes and candles surrounded the couple. What a romantic way to say “I Do”.

The Reception tent was a vision of white and cream tones. Todd Crawford of Crawford & Co Florist created a beautiful display of white roses, hydrangeas and lilies, sparkling crystal centerpieces and candle light to set the mood. A perfectly arranged flower fountain adorned with an array of white flowers, floating candles and white Ostrich feathers was the centerpiece of the tent. The linens, provided by Party Reflections, were a combination of patterns and textures. The tent walls were elegantly draped with cream satin fabric, up lit in lavender hues which complimented the lounge furniture. Under the glowing chandelier and flickering candles, the guests danced the night away on the black and white dance floor.

Despite the rain that afternoon, the evening was beautiful! Thanks for letting us be apart of your special day!
